☀️ End Fossil Fuels
We need San Diego and California to step up to the fight. Fossil fuel companies and utilities are trying to halt progress on clean energy renewables and electrification. Trump is escalating the risk of climate disasters.
⚖ Fight for Climate Justice
Trump’s onslaught is revealing a presidency that is vengeful and cruel: rolling back climate protections, boosting fossil fuel extraction, illegally dismissing federal workers, ramping up deportations, and creating a constitutional crisis to advance a dark vision of America that threatens our diverse community.
🔨 Good Jobs & a Green Future
- It’s up to us to keep San Diego and California on track – to lead the charge to defend democratic institutions and ensure California provides good jobs, affordable housing, as part of a healthier green economy.
🔥 Hold Polluters Accountable
Let’s ensure that the California legislature passes the “Make Polluters Pay” bill. The Polluters Pay Climate Superfund (SB 684 and AB 1243) will hold fossil fuel companies financially accountable for the environmental damage caused by their emissions. Funds will be dedicated to funding initiatives that mitigate the damage of climate change and build climate resilience, especially in vulnerable communities.
